My exchange student

Well I guess she is not actually mine... I won't meet her, but she is living at my house!
She seems very nice and we are pretty similar.
Hope my family loves her and she loves my family!

What to do now

So if any exchange stundents are reading this post I believe you will understand.

I am at this awkward stage of pre-exchange where I know my country, I have spoken with my family, and there is nothing to do now but wait and practice my language.

It is hard to believe that I still have three months before I leave.
Sigh.

Host Brother

Last night my host brother Jonas messaged me on Facebook. He seems very kind and funny. He gave more details about his family and we talked for along time. I will have two brothers and a sister. One brother is out of the house, Jonas will be there sometimes, and my sister will be an exchange student as well. I am so happy to have made contact with the family! It seems like they are EXTREMELY active... so maybe I will not gain 30 pounds on exchange haha.

time differences

I am starting to realize that communicating with people with an eight hour time difference... is hard. #exchangestudentproblems

Hi! I know I am a few months early on the creation of my blog, but there is reason to my madness.
reasons why I am starting my blog now
1) Give friends and family something to look at.
2) Keep track of important things happening now, such as finding out my host family!!! (I am so excited!)
3) I am excited for my trip and it is my way of venting.
4) I have my 2nd orientation tomorrow and i cannot wait to see all my friends that I made in January! (I want to keep record of the weekend some place!)
5) In spire family and friends to continue supporting me (and helping me fund raise)
