So I love Halloween and it hurts to bot celebrate it this year. So last night I made a trick or treak bag for each member of the family. There will be a halloween!!!!!!!!!!!! haha or at least candy. The gummy eyeballs where baught without the thought of my host brother who just had surgery but go just perfect with the occasion!!!

Today means I have one month till I cook a two day late Thanksgiving dinner for my 1st and 2nd hosr families. This is also one month from the day that after the thanksgiving dinner my 2nd family takes me home and I have official switched families.
One month from today and I have more or less compelted 1/3 of my exchange.
First:
my friend from class was trying to tell me something but I didnt understand the German word and she didnt know the English word. she says "i only know it in french..." i told her to say it in french, more for kicks and giggles than anything else. She says it in french and I reconise it because its basically the same in spanish.
So today i translated french with spanish because i have poor german and my friend has less than perfect english. Yes this happend.
Second:
Im in math and i tell the girl next to me shes doing her work wrong (in reality i had no clue how to do it myself and i was just kidding with her) she stops working looks down at her problem and thanked me because i guess she had actualy been doing it wrong. And that is luck my friends!
I was sick.
Hence my absents.
From Saturday to monday it was sleep and Gossip Girl. Today I am back at school.
Rotary meeting today in a castle.... Oh and these cat cookies or something haha
So I left my wallet at home today.
This contains my GA. (my card that lets me ride the trains without buying a ticket, crazy important, illigal to ride the train without it or a ticket) and allllll my money, and my identification. I mean everything. If they check tickets coming home on the train (fairly commen) then i have to pay 100 francs. Problem is I dont have my wallet to pay, and no identification, and I dont know enough german to explain the situation. I pray there is no ticket check today!
So I think it means my mom misses me when she says my host brothers operation blog post with the carrot joke is the funniest thing since... Since.... Janice and diane had their happy cows of california radio commercials. Hahahahaha
I love her. She is adorable.
Ok, so the younger of my two host brothers had eye surgery today. When he came down for dinner he was still swollen around half of his face. Me being totally mean had to bite my lip not to laugh... Or cry...
Then my host mom was offering him carrots and brussels sprouts which he was less than excited about so I wispered next to him... "my mom told me carrots are good.for the eyes"
Too soon maybe but he did laugh. Then he went to get a glass of water (this kid is like temperarily 100% blind) so his moms helps him and puts out the cup to him but he doesnt know its there. She tells him and he reaches out. Totally not close to the cup he tries for almost a minute (which seems like a short time but when your trying not laugh and cry at the same time it is.hard) poor kid. His sight should be all fixed in a few days.
So we are coming out from lunch and one of the girls in my class says "do you have a...." and she was acting a little weird and she didnt know the word so I reach into my bag and hand her a tampon. She bursts into laughter and tells another girl what sge wanted to say.... She ment to ask if I had chewing gum....

We all have those mornings where we accidently leave the house, forgetting to put on mascara.
So my little sister zandra turned 15 today. I cant give her a gift or bake her a cake because im in switzerland and shes in cali. So i sent her about 100 snapchats. Because that is love.
Double rainbow. Im just going to say its all for my little sister Zandras bday. She turned 15. Seems double rainbow worthy.

So we are having a dinner with family friends... When my host cat jumps into the chair like this and lays down behind one of the guests
So my math teacher (also my physics teacher) is kind of cray cray.
But im proud to say that despite the class being in german I managed to fallow along on the calculater (even though the answer isn't perfect)
Today I started school really late. 10:40am. (like every friday)
After one hour of math in German, we had like a 3 hour break because my second class (2hrs) was canceled and then an hour for lunch. So we ate and went to one of the girls house to hangout and do homework. Then we rode bikes back to town where we had P.E. In the woods......... Then insted of being 2hrs it was only one. And turns out my last class friday is only everyother friday so we rode the bikes back to the house.
So basicaly I went to school for 2 classes. Making 3hrs.... Hahahahaha

Sometime I post lame pictures because I dont want them on my phone anymore but I dont want it forgotten completly.
Ok so my host mom tells me I will be home alone tonight and to help myself to anything. So I am looking in the fridge and someone cooked my mexican beans I had baught for my taco dinner but I forgot. So I desided to eat beans in rice. (stop judging)
Well back home I was blessed with my family owning a rice cooker. Here we dont. So I get the box of rice (instructions in german) ok how hard can this be its just rice.
Ok it was hard.
My first try I cooked too much. And had tok much water and I stirred and all kinds of things went wrong.
I am here thinking hey I have the house to myself Ill google directions this time and try again with a small batch.
So as I am on my second batch; my oldest host bro comes home. Asks me what i am going and I desided to own up to the failure and show him my rice attempts.
He laughs and pulls down a toupleware container of spinich ravioli from top of the fridge (to cool food before going in, but awat so the cat doesnt eat it)
So i sit down to my beans and rice... Which tasted really bad but I was trying to fake like I liked it infront of my host brother who made spaghetti.
I finally had to tap out and stop eating. Sigh. If only I was home alone I would have just eated bread and gone to bed. But nooooo

So my host cat eats everything off the counters if.we leave food up there. He digs in the compost and eats eggs out of bowls. But when my host dad broke an egg he wanted nothing to do with it on the floor. Ugh
Trying to do my honework.... But I keep making eye contact with the cows outside the window.

Cows cows everywhere. Cows with cow bells. This sounds a but like dr suess sorry. But really, today my bus took 15 extra minutes because we were stuck behind some folks who desided to take 20 cows for a walk in the street. #onlyswitzerland
So my first snow fall in Switzerland.... Guys I am so excited! This is right outside my house!
I can no longer leave windows open in my room because my host cat broke the window screen and just comes into my room if the window is open. Sometimes I come home and find a patch of white fur on my bed. Sigh
Yesterday I met up Holly in Bern. We attempted train hopping but found out we were really bad at it. So we went back to bern and then to Zurich. In zurich there is this tiny store that sells homemade gummybears and its really cool.
After Zurich we went back to bern. Went to an expensive indian reaturant which was ok.
