Last post in switzerland

Ok so tomorrow mornig I wake up at 4:30am and arrive in California at 5:00am the next day swiss time. So more or less 24 hrs.
All packed and enough chocolate to late me a few years till I can come back.
If/ when I post to this blog it will be in California.

So I took these while waiting to do my run. I have amazing pictures from my flight but havent had the time to get to a laptop to up load.

5 days

So excatly 5 days from now I will be taking the train to the airport with my second host sister. As a last minutes gift to my self I will be going paragliding today!!!!! So excited! :) :) :)

Two weeks

I have 13 days before I am on a plane back home. Between being in school for 5 of those days, packing, hangout with my host family, and getting in all those last minutes activities befoee going home is begimning to feel like mission im possible.

Language test

I just got my results back from my German language test! I did very well! I am excited!

Returning home

So I am slowly approaching my last post of this blog. (Not that there has been so many posts as of late) twenty days from today I will be back in California.  Only 3 weeks.
This year I had many ups and downs highs and lows. I saw and did things that were priceless and things I would not trade for a year back in California.  I met many people and learned alot about the world that I would have never considered before this year on exchange. 
Back this adventure is coming to a close making way for a new one to being.

Heart attack

So back round. My current room was my host brothers old room and the closet still has some folders of his.
So me taking a nap after surving a tick wakes up to him in my room/ closet and i jump and .... he just keeps saying OH MY GOD OH MY GOD runs out of the room and he hasnt come back.......

So just found a tick takin a bite of my foot.
I am actually very surprised how calm I was....
No pictures because I flushed him down the toilet and really... who the heck takes selfies with ticks anyways.

I never understood that saying about how important a handshake is untill today when a man shook my hand and it was the worst handshake that i had ever experienced. So bad that it deserved its own post here on my blog.

9 months

Today marks my 9th month in Switzerland.
So I spent some time reviewing my blog from the start.
I chilled with cows,
I went to france and saw my friend there,
I got really sick
I traveled some
I saw the Matterhorn
I shared my chips with a cat
I used to hide in my school library when I lost my class
I got followed nack to my town by  a creapy drunk man
I moved families
I went to italy and ate a ton of pizza
I watched Germany's next top model with my host sister
My host sister forgot her key and called me like 8 times during school
Tried to go on a day trip to italy but everything got messed up
Had a play date with a rotarians two daughters who were nice
Got to go see my host cousins new born son
The neighbors cat was chilling out side my room
I gave a rotary presentation in German
Change to last famile
Mini golf and bowling
Watched mean girls in german
Host brothers first communion
Easter egg hunt with hard boiled eggs
A ww2 military base tour
A thun VS zurich soccer game

Of course I have done many many things not listed but it is just what alot of the posts reminded me of and things that are so lame it is a little funny. I can't wait for the last 3 month of memories.

Right now my town in California is getting major heat, and here I switzerland I just keep waiting for the rain to stop.

Rotary humor

So I went to my rotary's lunch meeting today and got seated with my current host dad and the two youngest member of the club. We were then named the kids table.

Later amist all the german going on I over hear the two young guys talkig about their small children and how then wishes they had a way tter controle them. One then asks me if when I go home I would send him a tazer.... not a large one he said,... just big enough for.... a small animal.... me all like.... what the heck.....
The two men proceed to think up more creative ideas such as a dart gun, lr chloroform, they thought it was so funny they were both brinking on tears, and I made the mistake of sudjusting a simple dog shock collar.
The rest of the table including my current host dad where just like..... what is wrong with you people.........
