Thanksgiving in July
So here is a little more background about me.
I have this addiction to Turkey!
Words can not express.
So my patents and I are planning this big party in July.
My graduation, 18th birthday, and going away to Switzerland.
We are inviting EVERYONE!
And we were trying to figure out what to serve for dinner.
I do not eat much meat. Mostly only turkey and chicken.
So when my mom asked if I wanted a BBQ (which my town is famous for) I said no. When she asked if I wanted Mexican style pork tacos (because we hear Mexican food is slow to come by in Europe) I said no.
THEN my mom asked if some roasted turkey would be nice. I got SO excited I probably planned the whole meal in under ten seconds!
A thanksgiving party!!!!
The food will be awesome! A reminder of the American life I am leaving, and with those three things to celebrate it really is a day to be grateful!
Not to mention that I will be excepting donations for my year abroad while at this party and I can be grateful for my company!
God is good.

A true story
Hi everyone,
This just happened today about 3 hours ago.
And it is a story of what just happened to a very close friend of mine.
My friend Mo is an exchange student, he was riding his bike home from school when he got hit by a car.
He is doing ok, some staples in his head, a strained neck, and lots of road rash.
Luckily he was wearing a helmet.
Just a reminder that we are not invincible.
